The Old Gin House

The Old Gin House, an historic landmark tourist hotel on the Dutch Caribbean island of St. Eustatius is now open with gourmet restaurant and full service bar.The Old Gin House is the faithful reconstruction of an 18th century building that once housed a cotton gin. It is built with old brick once used by sailing ships for ballast. The hotel is surrounded by bougainvillea, palm trees and tropical gardens. The property includes a library, ocean view terrace and is within walking distance of Statia's historic district and Fort Oranje.
