Camagüey, 1943 This actor began his artistic activities in 1962 along with his work in the office of the Red Cross and the theater, for he was a member of the group in the Prometeo Hall. Between 1964 and 1967 he was in the Military Service and, upon demobilizing, he joined the Taller Dramatico group in the play Maria Antonia, which was his first professional performance. His career in the theater includes almost 70 plays such as El alboroto, Unos hombres y otros, Divinas palabras, Lumumba, Santa Camila de Havana Vieja, La comuna de Paris and Andoba. His performances on TV have also been large, mainly in soap operas and other series. He has had the opportunity to participate in important films, such as Maluala and La ultima cena. He has participated as delegate I the festivals of San Sebastian, Karlovy Vary, the Glauber Rocha in Brazil and the First Pan-African Festival of United States.
