Mexico's Tourism Minister Wants Marijuana Travel

Mexico’s minister for tourism revealed Thursday he believes marijuana should be legalized in cities popular with travelers like Cancun and Los Cabos with the intent of reducing criminal violence.

According to Reuters.com, tourism minister Enrique de la Madrid wants to follow the example of areas in the United States and legalize marijuana in Quintana Roo and Baja California Sur. Those regions have been hit hard by drug and gang violence, and legalizing marijuana could help take power away from the criminals.

Lufthansa Rolls Out Automatic Check-in for all Europe Flights

Lufthansa passengers will now benefit from an automatic check-in procedure for all flights within Germany and to destinations in Europe.

The boarding pass for flights booked up to 24 hours before departure will then be sent automatically to the passenger 23 hours before departure – with no need for any manual check-in, thus saving time and making travel preparations easier.

In order to use this new service, Lufthansa customers must enter their personal details in their Miles & More account or Lufthansa ID profile.

St. Lucia Keeps Enhancing Cruise Capacity

A recently commissioned berth expansion project at Pointe Seraphine has given St Lucia the ability to welcome multiple quantum class vessels, with capacity of approximately 5,000 passengers per port call.
